ORDER

 

You can buy a painting from me in two ways:

1. By appointment.

Are you interested in a painting, but would you like to see it in real life and / or get to know me? Mail, call, or whatsapp me to make an appointment.

Then you can come and view the painting or paintings of your preference in Blaricum without any obligation and decide in peace whether or not to buy. We can therefore also discuss the possibility of a trial placementIf you decide to buy the painting, I ask you to pay 35% of the amount on the spot, for the rest you will receive an invoice.

2. Via the webshop.

You order the painting via the web store.

 

PAYMENTS

You can pay in the web shop in two ways:

1. Safe with Ideal.

Payment is provided by Sisow, a large online payment provider, with which many webshops work. They guarantee that your transaction is executed securely. Because your payment can be processed the same day, this is the fastest (and easiest) way of payment.

2. By bank transfer.

In the latter case, transfer the amount to bank account NL83 RABO 0124 0304 24 in the name of Merel Feenstra stating the name of the artwork.

If you do not want to pay the amount in advance at once, I will send you an invoice on request. After receiving a deposit of 50% of the invoice, I will send you the painting and / or you can come to my studio to collect the painting from me. The painting will only become your property if you have paid the full amount of the invoice to me.

DELIVERY TIME
 

As soon as I receive the money, I will start working with your order and the delivery time of 3-5 working days starts. When paying via Ideal, it is often the same day; if you transfer money yourself through your bank account, I usually receive the money the next day. Then the delivery time also starts.

PACKAGING


I pack the painting very carefully and thoroughly. First I put around 10 meters of bubble wrap around it, then I wrap it in about 4 meters of sturdy brown kraft paper and finally I reinforce it with another 12 meters wide adhesive tape.

 

A customer called it "top packed!" So you can really trust that I take utmost care in this.

Tip: keep the packaging material. Then you can use it if you want to return the painting.

Shipment

You can choose from two shipping methods.

 

1. Free collection from me in Blaricum.

The advantage is that you can immediately see the painting in real life and that we (nice!) can get acquainted. As soon as I have received your order and the money, I will contact you to make an appointment for the delivery.

2. Shipping by post NL.

I ship large paintings by registered and insured post with NL. The costs for this are € 14.90. The fact that the costs are higher than for sending a "normal" package via PostNL is mainly due to the sizes and weight of most paintings. PostNL delivers from Tuesday to Saturday and you can track the shipment with the Track & Trace code. You must sign for receipt. I send small paintings as a normal package. The costs for this are € 6.95. Some paintings are too fragile to send. You can only collect it from me in Blaricum. If that is the case, it is mentioned in the description of the painting. For now I only ship paintings in the Netherlands.

 

RETURNS

If for any reason the painting you bought online is not what you expected it to be, you have two weeks to indicate that you want to return it. After your report you have 2 weeks to return it. So you have a painting on view for 14 days! It is important to me that you handle the painting and packaging carefully during this period. After all, if you use your cooling-off period and decide to return, then I still have to be able to sell it to someone else. How does returns work? Send an email to info@merel-art.nl.nl stating:

• your name

• when you ordered the painting

• which painting you want to return

• the reason for returning (not required, but you help me a lot with it)

• to which bank account number I can return the money I will then send you a reply with the address to which you can return the painting.

 

If you prefer, you can also download the official model form for dissolution / withdrawal, fill it in and send it to me: Model form dissolution withdrawal. But you don't have to.

 

Then send it back to me in original condition and preferably in the original packaging (or other packaging, which is at least as solid as the one in which you received the painting).

 

I will reimburse the shipping costs you incur with the refund. Returns are therefore free! After dissolution I will refund the amount paid by you including shipping costs (both out and back) within two weeks. Normally it will be refunded within one week.
